How Does Weed Make You Feel?

Many people are noticing that weed is legal in certain areas, so how does weed make you feel in 2018? This article is going to explain how you feel smoking, vaping, or eating weed. These feelings are all different and if you are going to try weed you should know how it is going to make you feel.

General Weed Feeling

There are general feelings you will feel from all three ways to ingest weed. One thing that is general for all types of weed is altered sensory perceptions.

These altered sensory perceptions may cause one to feel happy and see the world in a beautiful way. Colors may seem brighter and the world is just a happier place. However, it can go the complete opposite way. You may see the world as harsh or grim instead of happy. This would be known as a bad high.

Weed will alter your mood or mental state. Many people relate a weed high to feeling happy as if they were drunk. You may not make decisions in the best way while you are high or stoned.

Smoking Weed

When you thinking about trying weed many people will smoke it. This would include pipes, bongs, joints, and blunts. Any of these ways could cause you to cough. This high will be harsh on your throat. If you take too big of a hit of weed your throat could feel like it is on fire. You are going to use a lighter to light any of these ways to smoke. When you smoke you will feel different things such as:

  • Happiness
  • Drowsiness
  • Hunger (Munchies)
  • Giggles

Vaping Weed

If you are vaping weed you are going to be using a system that heats up the weed to extract the THC (component that gets you high). This is true for a vape pen that is easily able to be carried or a larger vape machine. You will put your grinded weed into this system and it will heat. This allows for a smoother hit. It does not make you feel like your throat is on fire either. You may experience:

  • A quicker high
  • Smoother hit
  • Happiness
  • Hunger
  • Giggles
  • A Different type of high

Eating Weed

Eating weed is known as edibles. Edibles are cookies, brownies, cakes, and basically anything that you can add butter to. To make edibles you cook your weed in the butter. The fat from the butter bonds with the THC and you are ready to make your edibles. Edibles take a longer time to kick in but are usually a stronger high. However, edibles are different in a major way compared to smoking or vaping weed. Edibles last anywhere from four to eight hours. You will experience these side effects from edibles:

  • Prolonged High
  • Happiness
  • Hallucinations (In large quantities)
  • Hunger (Munchies)
  • Giggles
  • Paranoia
  • Anxiety

Weed will make you feel either really really happy and just a giggly person or if you are in a bad mood when you try it, it could make you feel depressed and angry. You may feel that the world is a completely different place. If you are going to try weed, make sure you have a positive mindset.
